A digital painting from an original photograph taken in 2022. It had been damp and dusky. The young rose bud growing wild outside the greenhouse stood out in bright relief against the windowpane behind it. If you notice, there are hot house roses peering out the window at their wild cousin. Life is like that. Sometimes wild bravery makes you lonely - on the outside looking in. Be beautiful anyway.
